Physical Therapists work to help individuals develop, maintain,
or return to as normal a pattern of movement and functioning
as possible. They see individuals who have problems which affect
their ability to walk or move about in a functional manner due
to weakness, injury, joint limitation, or issues related to developmental
disabilities.
After evaluation to identify specific needs, the physical therapist
may provide:

- Therapeutic exercise to improve strength and endurance
- Training with a walker, cane, wheelchair, or special brace
